I get it, sometimes you just want to do it yourself. But where do you start? What gear do you need? With so many options available, how do you know what to get and how to use it? This week I have some tips on getting proper exposure, starting with shutter speed, aperture and ISO-the three sides of the exposure triangle!
Ok, the exposure triangle? Really, Tim? Yep-that's what it's called!
The reason is because changing the setting of one may have a direct impact on the other two settings so it's important that if you are going to create your own content, specifically with a DSLR-style camera, you understand how these three controls correlate to each other. This is not designed to make you scared or worried, but merely to help you achieve the best image out of your gear as possible.
Of course, if you don't want to bother with it, you can leave your camera on automatic and get what you get-or, you can hire Timato Productions to produce your content for you and focus on what you do best-running your business!
